Missions Opportunities

Serving in Christ's Name

Limestone Baptist is a more than just a place to go or an event to attend; we are a community of people who have been changed by the love of God and want to change our community in response. It's our desire to make known the good news of God's love within our own congregation as well as outside the walls in our community. Following the model of Jesus, it's the heart of our church to love those around us by meeting their needs, sharing our lives, and offering them the life-changing grace of the Christian faith. We believe that it's the gospel of Christ that truly changes people, and those people are the ones who change the world. See a small sampling of our mission opportunities on this page.

WMU, an auxiliary of the Southern Baptist Convention, began 133 years ago in the hearts of visionary leaders to pray and systematically raise money for missions. Since that time, WMU has helped lead Southern Baptist churches across the country to give $6.6 billion through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering—efforts begun by WMU to support missionaries. WMU’s unwavering focus on making disciples of Jesus who live on mission happens through missions discipleship, leadership development, and compassion ministries, with kingdom impact in every state and 39 countries.  Limestone Baptist Women are thrilled to be a part of this long-standing ministry and invite other women, young and old, to join as well.

The men of Limestone Baptist invite all men, young and old, to serve in Jesus' Name through our handyman ministries, disaster relief, and other various mission projects, locally and regionally.

Feed the Need Missions is a non-profit that feeds people both physically and spiritually. We follow Christ's model of going into communities to meet their physical needs, build meaningful relationships and share the love and message of Christ.  Limestone Baptist is blessed to have the opportunity of serving with Feed the Need, doing so to bless others in Jesus' Name.
